Description

The Netsys GigaPort VDSL2 Ethernet Extender Kit with PoE Remote Unit (NV-320SEKIT) provides a cost effective point-to-point solution for long range broadband applications, delivering high-speed data over long distances while also providing power through the NV-320SE Remote Unit's dual Power over Ethernet-injected 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports. The NV-320SEKIT comes with everything you need (one NV-202G Unit pre-configured as CO/Local and one NV-320SE Unit pre-configured as CPE/Remote) for a point-to-point, plug and play application where the remote network devices require PoE, and features auto-configuring speeds up to 160Mbps symmetrical (320Mbps aggregate), with speeds dropping off asymmetrically from there, automatically optimized based on the quality of the line and the distance with a maximum distance of 10,000' (3 km) over existing twisted-pair phone line or network cable. The NV-302SE’s dual 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports feature built-in PoE injectors, providing the ability to power PoE ready network devices directly from the NV-320SE. NOTE: The NV-320SE Remote Unit does require its own power source (56V DC) and is provided with the NV-320SEKIT.

The Netsys NV-320SEKIT comes ready to plug and play out of the box (no configuration required) for distances up to 10,000 feet (3 km), to provide one point-to-point, high-speed Ethernet link with line speeds up to 160Mbps symmetrical, and distances up to 10,000 feet / 3 km at 2Mbps downstream and 500Kbps upstream. In default mode, the VDSL2 bandwidth is automatically optimized (no configuration required) achieve the best possible speeds (view default configuration performance here) based on the cable and environmental characteristics. The NV-320SEKIT can also be dip switch configured (view DIP switch setting details here) for a total of 8 different VDSL2 band profiles to overcome noisy environments, increase distance capabilities and/or maximize bandwidth (view VDSL2 band profiles and performance table here).

The NV-320SE’s Ethernet ports provide up to 30W of PoE power each, making the NV-320SEKIT VDSL2 Ethernet Extender kit with PoE a complete and cost-effective point-to-point solution for any location with network devices requiring PoE.
