The Netsys NV-520G GigaPort Industrial Grade VDSL2 Ethernet Bridge Modem is a VDSL2 Ethernet extender designed for point-to-point Industrial LAN extender applications. The NV-520G serves as the modern replacement for the legacy Netsys NV-500I and is fully backwards compatible with existing Netsys NV-202 infrastructure. As this is an individual component, it requires a compatible Netsys VDSL2 bridge modem to establish a network link.

Designed for stability in harsh environments, the NV-520G establishes an Ethernet bridge over any single twisted pair of copper—including Cat5, Cat6, Cat7, or legacy phone lines—using the integrated RJ-11 Line Port or 2-pin Terminal Block. The unit features four 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-sensing RJ-45 ports to support Gigabit equipment, providing an aggregate bandwidth of up to 320Mbps for factory Industrial LANs, transit stations, and maritime applications.

With 8 selectable VDSL2 band profiles and G.INP mode for noisy environments, this LAN extender ensures reliable performance at distances up to 10,000 feet (3km). The hardware is compliant with the IP30 standard and includes a DIN-Rail mount for installation in industrial cabinets. Note: The NV-520G utilizes an external DC power source (15~48V) and does not include a power supply.
