The SC&T Long Reach PoE Over Coax Extender Kit (IP09CPK) extends Ethernet and PoE over existing RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable, making it easy to upgrade analog CCTV systems to IP cameras without installing new network cabling. The kit includes one IP09CPT transmitter and one IP09CPR receiver that create a point-to-point Ethernet and PoE link over a single coaxial cable.

Designed for retrofit networking applications, the IP09CPK provides a practical upgrade path for analog CCTV systems, allowing existing coaxial cable to be reused for IP cameras without installing new Ethernet cable. It is also well suited for warehouses, factories, campuses, parking facilities, smart buildings, and other long-distance PoE deployments where running new network cabling may be costly, disruptive, or impractical.

The IP09CPK supports 10/100Mbps network transmission over coaxial cable, with distances up to 500m / 1,640 ft at 100Mbps or up to 800m / 2,625 ft at 10Mbps. Both extender units can be powered from a PoE switch, eliminating the need for separate local power supplies at the extender locations while simplifying installation.

When powered from a PoE switch, the IP09CPK can operate without separate local power supplies while still delivering PoE for many standard IP camera deployments. For higher-power devices such as PTZ cameras, PoE lighting, displays, or longer cable runs, optional 48V and 56V power adapters are available separately. With an external power adapter, the IP09CPK supports up to 90W PoE under supported cable and distance conditions.
