The Netsys NV-450EKIT G.fast Gigabit Ethernet Extender Kit is designed to deliver Gigabit-class Ethernet connectivity over existing two-wire copper infrastructure. Using advanced G.fast technology, the NV-450EKIT provides a high-speed point-to-point Ethernet bridge for commercial networking applications where installing new fiber cabling may be impractical or cost-prohibitive.

The NV-450EKIT is ideal for commercial buildings, campus networks, security systems, FTTdp/FTTN applications, and other infrastructure upgrades where higher bandwidth is required over existing copper cabling. Unlike traditional long-range VDSL2 Ethernet extenders, the NV-450EKIT prioritizes higher throughput over short-to-medium copper distances.

G.fast technology is optimized for high-bandwidth Ethernet extension over short-to-medium copper distances. The NV-450EKIT prioritizes higher throughput over maximum reach, making it ideal for commercial infrastructure upgrades where existing copper cabling is available but fiber installation is impractical. The kit includes one NV-450M Master and one NV-450S Slave, along with the accessories required to establish a high-speed Ethernet bridge over a single twisted pair of network-grade cable such as Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7, or over existing telephone wiring. Each unit includes four auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports, RJ-11 and terminal block line interfaces, and web-based management for status monitoring and configuration.

The NV-450M Master supports selectable symmetric and asymmetric G.fast band profiles to help optimize performance for different deployment requirements. The NV-450S Slave also supports backward compatibility with VDSL2 and V35b environments when used with compatible third-party equipment.
