The Netsys GigaPort VDSL2 Ethernet Extender Kit (NV-202GEKIT) extends Ethernet networks far beyond the standard 328-foot (100m) limitation by using existing copper wiring, including Cat5/6/7 cable or legacy phone line infrastructure. The kit includes two pre-configured NV-202G bridge modems that create a high-speed point-to-point Ethernet link with no software or network configuration required.

Designed for retrofit networking applications, the NV-202GEKIT provides a cost-effective alternative to new fiber installation for buildings, hotels, hospitals, campuses, remote offices, and other long-distance Ethernet deployments. The NV-202G bridge modems are fully backwards compatible with legacy Netsys NV-202 and NV-202EKIT installations, making the NV-202GEKIT the modern replacement for existing deployments.

The NV-202GEKIT supports both RJ-11 and Terminal Block line connections over a single twisted pair of copper wiring. Dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports support modern Gigabit networking equipment, while the VDSL2 extension link delivers symmetrical line speeds up to 160Mbps (320Mbps aggregate bandwidth) depending on cable quality, distance, and environmental conditions.

For challenging installations, the NV-202GEKIT features DIP-switch selectable transmission profiles, including G.INP noise-tolerant modes designed to improve stability and performance in high-interference environments. Multiple VDSL2 band profiles allow installers to optimize the connection for maximum distance, bandwidth, or reliability depending on the deployment requirements.
