The new Ethernet HyperXtender LR Kit (NB-301AKIT) provides the ultimate long-range solution for point-to-point Ethernet connections up to 22,500 feet (6.9 km) and speeds up to 5.7 Mbps over existing phone or network cable.  The kit includes two Ethernet HyperXtender LR (NB-301A) G.SHDSL.bis modems configured for Plug N’ Play operation over a single twisted pair.
The NEW Ethernet HyperXtender LR Kit includes everything needed to quickly deploy one high-speed, point-to-point Ethernet extender over extra long distances and is great for delivering video, data, and voice services and connecting remotely located wireless access points and other network devices, satellite buildings, and backhaul applications to name a few. The Ethernet HyperXtender LR G.SHDSL.bis Modems can utilize existing phone lines or any network-grade cable and only require one (1) twisted pair (2 wires) to operate. The Ethernet HyperXtender LR Solution saves you time and money by eliminating expense and hassle of fiber cable and equipment, leased line, and other data line services.
The NEW Ethernet HyperXtender LR G.SHDSL.bis modems come ready to plug and play out of the box for distances up to 22,500 feet (6.9 km) and speeds up to 4.608 Mbps, but can be configured for speeds up to 5.696 Mbps symmetrical at distances up to 4,500 feet (1.3 km), making it the perfect flexible solution for most long-range applications. The bandwidth usage is automatically optimized to achieve the best speeds possible based on the surrounding environment, and there is no configuration required in default mode. The line speed of the link can be set to speeds from 64 Kbps to 5.696 Mbps using the simple console configuration feature.
The NEW HyperXtender LR Kit is also simple to install and use.  One of the NB-301A G.SHDSL.bis modems is pre-configured as the Local Unit, while the other is pre-configured as the Remote Unit.  The Ethernet HyperXtender LR Local Unit is typically located in the Central Office, Computer Room, or Wiring Closet and its RJ-45 Ethernet port connects to a router or switch. Next, the DSL Port is connected with a 2-wire twisted pair phone line (or network cable) connection extending (up to 22,500 feet/6.9 km) to the remote device location. The Ethernet HyperXtender LR Remote Unit is placed at the remote location and connected to DSL connection, the LAN port of the remote network device (NIC, router, switch, etc.). Last, the Local and Remote Units are connected to the AC power source and the link is established automatically on power up. Once the link is established, the link speed auto-configures to the optimum speed based on the surrounding environment to speeds of up to 4.608 Mbps symmetrical, and features configurable speeds from 64 Kbps to 5.696 Mbps.
