The NEW Netsys HyperXtender PoE Plus (NVF-200POEKIT) Extended Distance Power over Ethernet System is the ONLY Ethernet Extender that delivers power and IP connectivity at distances up to 3,280 feet (1km) using a SINGLE existing or new copper twisted pair phone cable. These innovative transmission techniques result in power feeding and data over a single twisted copper pair and are ideal for deploying extended Ethernet where there are limited or no power sources at the remote end. Automatic fault protection and power monitoring ensure reliable delivery of essential power and data/video to and from the remote locations. The Netsys NVF-200POEKIT provides extended-distance power and Ethernet connections over a single pair of Cat 3 or better twisted pair phone or network cable. The NVF-200POEKIT utilizes VDSL technology to support links of 5/15/25Mbps symmetrical bandwidth over phone wiring with long driver capable of distances up to 3,280 feet/2,624 feet/1,680 feet (1km/0.8km/0.5km), respectively.

The Ethernet HyperXtender POE Plus Local (NVF-200SE) and Ethernet HyperXtender POE Plus Remote (NVF-200PD) Units come ready to plug and play out of the box for distances up to 3,280 feet (1 km) at a line speed of 5 Mbps symmetrical, or line speeds of 25 Mbps symmetrical at distances up to 1,680 feet (0.5 km), which is more than perfect for most applications. The bandwidth usage is automatically optimized to achieve the best speeds possible based on the surrounding environment, and there is no configuration required. The line speed of the link can be set to 5/15/25 Mbps using the DIP Switch on the NVF-200SE Local Unit. The Netsys HyperXtender PoE Plus Kit Ethernet Extender Solution also features the ability to extend power over the same twisted pair and features power protections such as OVP(Over Voltage Protection), OCP(Over Current Protection), OTP(Over Temperature Protection), robust short-circuit protection and surge protection, and are part of an ideal solution for delivering cost-effective, high-performance broadband/multimedia services through a point-to-point application.

The New Netsys HyperXtender PoE Plus Kit is also simple to install and use. The Ethernet HyperXtender PoE Plus Local Unit (NVF-200SE) is typically located in the Central Office, Computer Room, or Wiring Closet and its RJ-45 Ethernet port connects to a router or switch. Next, the Line Port of the Local Unit is connected to the RJ-11 telephone jack with a 2-wire twisted pair phone line (or network cable) connection extending (up to 3,280/1 km) to the remote device location. The Ethernet HyperXtender PoE Plus Remote Unit (NVF-200PD) is placed at the remote location and connected to line connection, the Ethernet port of the remote network device (NIC, router, switch, etc.) or any other Power Over Ethernet capable device. Both units also feature a terminal block for easy installation of the single twisted pair connecting them, without the hassle of re-terminating wires. Last, the Local Unit is connected to the AC power sources and the link is established automatically on power up. Once the link is established, the link speed auto-configures to the optimum speed based on the surrounding environment to speeds of up to 25Mbps symmetrical. The Netsys NVF-200POEKIT features LED indicators for power system and interface status. The Ethernet ports support auto-sensing/configuring full or half-duplex mode operation. VDSL link rates are configured by NVF-200SE over the auto-speed/fix speed function.

The Netsys Ethernet HyperXtender PoE Kit can be used to connect any Ethernet based device anytime the length of a network connection exceeds the 328 feet (100m) distance limitation or when installing network cabling is impractical or cost prohibitive and is the ONLY long-distance Ethernet Extender solution that uses a single twisted pair for when power sources at the remote location are limited or non-existent.

NOTE: If the network device (IP camera, access point, etc.) at the remote location does not have a Power over Ethernet receiver built in, a PoE adapter, such as the Netsys NP-100PD PoE Adapter. The adapter is connected to the Ethernet port of the NVF-200PD Remote Unit prior to the network device, allowing for the power and data signals to be split up and for power to be supplied to the end device.
