The Netsys Ethernet HyperXtender Plus Kit (NVF-200EKIT) provides the ultimate Ethernet Extender solution for point-to-point Ethernet connections up to 6,200 feet (1.9 km) and over existing phone lines or network cable. The kit includes an Ethernet HyperXtender Remote (NVF-200RE) and Ethernet HyperXtender Local Unit (NVF-200LSE) and features auto-configuring speeds up to 25 Mbps symmetrical, automatically optimized based on the quality of the line and the distance.
The Ethernet HyperXtender Plus Kit includes everything needed to quickly deploy one high-speed point-to-point Ethernet extender over long distances and is great for delivering video, data, and voice services and connecting remotely located wireless access points and other network devices, satellite buildings, and backhaul applications to name a few. The Ethernet HyperXtender Units can utilize existing phone lines or any network-grade twisted pair cable and only require one (1) twisted pair (2 wires) to operate. The Ethernet HyperXtender Plus Solution saves you time and money by eliminating expense and hassle of fiber cable and equipment, leased line, and other data line services.
The Ethernet HyperXtender Local (NVF-200LSE) and Ethernet HyperXtender Remote (NVF-200RE) Units come ready to plug and play out of the box for distances up to 6,200 feet (1.9 km) at an auto-configured bandwidth of 5 Mbps symmetrical, or line speeds up to 25 Mbps symmetrical at distances up to 2,666 feet (0.8 km), which is more than perfect for most applications. The bandwidth usage is automatically optimized to achieve the best speeds possible based on the surrounding environment, and there is no configuration required. The line speed of the link can be set to 5, 15, or 25 Mbps using the DIP Switch on the NVF-200LSE Local Unit. The HyperXtender Ethernet Extender Solution also features the ability to extend telephone (POTS/ISDN/PBX) service over the same 2 wires and features built-in POTS/ISDN splitters to eliminate external splitter devices.
The HyperXtender Kit is also simple to install and use. The Ethernet HyperXtender Local Unit (NVF-200LSE) (with console port) is typically located in the Central Office, Computer Room, or Wiring Closet and its RJ-45 Ethernet port connects to a router or switch and its RJ-11 Phone port connects to the RJ-11 telephone jack or PBX (if the POTS/ISDN feature is utilized). Next, the Line Port of the Local Unit is connected to the RJ-11 telephone jack with a 2-wire twisted pair phone line (or network cable) connection extending (up to 6,200 feet/1.9 km) to the remote device location. The Ethernet HyperXtender Remote Unit (NVF-200RE) is placed at the remote location and connected to line connection, the Ethernet port of the remote network device (NIC, router, switch, etc.), and the telephone set or fax machine is connected to the phone jack (if applicable). Last, the Local and Remote Units are connected to the AC power source and the link is established automatically on power up. Once the link is established, the link speed auto-configures to the optimum speed based on the surrounding environment to speeds of up to 25 Mbps symmetrical.
The Netsys Ethernet HyperXtender Plus Kit can be used to connect any Ethernet based device anytime the length of a network connection exceeds the 328 feet (100m) distance limitation or when installing network cabling is impractical or cost prohibitive.
