The Netsys Ethernet HyperXtender GT Local Unit (NV-600LE) is the next advance in point-to-point Ethernet Extension applications, providing extraordinary bandwidth of up to 100 Mbps symmetrical (200 Mbps aggregate bandwidth) at distances exceeding 1,000 feet (300 m) and a maximum distance of over 4,200 feet (1,280 m) at asymmetrical speeds exceeding 3 Mbps Upstream and 30 Mbps Downstream over one twisted-pair of network grade cable. Telephone grade twisted-pair cable can be used, however, speed and distance will vary based the actual cable used, quality of line, and the environment. The NV-600LE features four auto-sensing RJ-45 Ethernet Ports, full-featured Router functionality, and management via Web Browser (HTTP).

Ethernet HyperXtender GT Local Unit, when used with the
Ethernet HyperXtender GT Remote Unit (NV-600RE), provides a cost effective solution for all of your networking needs. The extraordinarily high-speed connection provided by the Ethernet HyperXtender GT is ideal for delivering video, data, and voice services, including HDTV, VOD, video-conferencing, high-speed internet access, and advanced voice services including VoIP, as well as connecting to other network devices and satellite buildings. The Ethernet HyperXtender Local Unit utilizes pre-existing phone lines or any other network-grade twisted pair cable and only require one (1) twisted pair (2 wires) to operate. The Ethernet HyperXtender GT Solution is the ideal accompaniment to a fiber to the premises (FTTP) rollout, where fiber is used to provide the main line access and copper cable is split off to provide access to the satellites, or the Ethernet HyperXtender GT can be used to eliminate all-together the expense and hassle of fiber cable and equipment, leased line, and other data line services, saving you time and money.
The Ethernet HyperXtender NV-600LE Local Unit comes ready for instant plug and play operation right out of the box for distances up to 4,200 feet (1,280m). The Ethernet HyperXtender GT Local Unit features auto-sensing/auto-configurating link operation, so there's no configuration required other than setting the networking address parameters (if required for your network). The HyperXtender GT Solution also features the ability to combine telephone (POTS/ISDN/PBX) service over the same 2 wires and features built-in POTS/ISDN splitters to eliminate external splitter devices.
The HyperXtender GT Local Unit is simple to install and use. The NV-600LE Local Unit is typically located in the Central Office, Computer Room, Wiring Closet, or other central location and one of its RJ-45 Ethernet Port connects to a router or switch while its RJ-11 Phone port connects to the RJ-11 telephone jack or PBX, if the POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service)/ISDN feature is utilized. Next, the Line Port of the Local Unit is connected to the 2-wire twisted pair network cable or phone line extending to the remote device location. Then, a compatible remote unit such as the NV-600RE Remote Unit is placed at the remote location and the Line Port is connected to network cable or phone line connection, the Ethernet Port/s are connected to the Ethernet port/s of the remote network device/s (NIC, router, switch, Access Port, etc.), and the Phone Port is connected to the telephone set or fax machine (if applicable). Next, the Remote Unit is connected to the AC power source and the link is established automatically on power up and is automatically configured for the maximum speed based on length and quality of the network cable or phone line. No line rate configuration required!
