The Netsys HPNA solution including the NH-800SP 8-Port Managed Concentrator and NH-300SP Ethernet Converter delivers everything needed to quickly deploy an Ethernet-based network and deliver high-speed Internet and voice services over existing phone lines. The NH-800SP’s 10/100 Ethernet Uplink Port connects to a Router or Ethernet Switch and acts as the bridge to the Internet for end-users connected through the NH-800SP's 8 HPNA ports. The second 10/00 Ethernet Uplink Port may be used for cascading additional NH-800SP units to increase network density. The NH-800SP also features built-in POTS/ ISDN splitters so that the HPNA service can share the existing phone line with the end-users' POTS/ISDN telephone service, thus reducing cost and overall wiring requirements. The POTS/ISDN lines and HPNA links connect to standard RJ- 11 connectors on the front of the NH-800SP and are broken out on the end-user side by the NH-300SP Converter. The NH-300SP features dual 10/100 Ethernet Ports and one POTS/ISDN Port with built-in POTS/ISDN splitter. For higher density applications, up to three (3) NH-800SP units may be cascaded to provide a 24-port solution. For larger applications, an Ethernet Switch (like the Netsys NS-2024S Gigabit Ethernet Switch) can be used to provide additional expansion.

The intelligent web-based management software allows for streamlined configuration of the NH-800SP. The NH-800SP can be configured on a per-link basis to high power (1Mbps) or low power (700Kbps) settings for distances up to 1,640 feet (500m). The NH-800SP 8-Port Managed HPNA Concentrator is also a fully managed layer 2 switch with enhanced features including quality of service (QOS), security, VLAN and Dynamic VLAN (GVRP), IGMP snooping for VOD (video on demand), SNMP RMON and web-based switch network management. The NH-800SP is one rack-unit high, 9-inches deep (230mm) and can be easily mounted in a rack/cabinet or placed on a desktop.
